The South Carolina CPCU Society Chapter sent representatives to participate in a panel during a Gamma Iota Sigma meeting. The CPCU members discussed their career experiences and talked about the benefits of obtaining the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) credential. Students were fortunate to hear personal anecdotes about the CPCU designation and general career advice. As leaders in their field, the society members were an excellent source of reference for GIS students who were able to participate in this question and answer style panel. This was a great opportunity for GIS students to network and interact personally with property and casualty insurance professionals.
